How long to complete the hunt? 4 hours 15 minutes (It will probably go quicker because you can look at the Official Hints and see which stores aren't out and move on to the next item!) I did this hunt alone.

Were folders labeled consistently?
Yes, and only one was boxed #35. Very well organized!

Were all items found?
No - but the official hint list helps you know which are out and which aren't. At time of hunt the following numbers were to be skipped: 8, 17, 18, 37, 39, 47, 53, & 59. 12 is to be delivered later by the owner - the apple was empty at the time I did the hunt. Keep checking the official site for info.

The apples are relatively easy to find and this hunt would be good for new players. There was only one apple near the end of the hunt that was inside an item; a good exercise in camming. Remember, there's always the list of hints with slurls to the next store if you get stumped!

Hey, hey, hey ... I still have a lot of packing to do before I leave for vacation and then tons more packing to do when I return for my move inrl. I will be infrequently blogging, due to relocating until 1 August 2009. Thanks for understanding guys. ^^

If you haven't noticed; there's a cr&p ton of hunts going on. I've done a bit of all of them, but have not finished any one hunt in its entirety. So, my reviews are way incomplete. You can check the official site for each hunt: some official blogs include prizes, others only have partial prize teasers included in posting, and still some display no hunt prize teasers at all.

So what can you do if you want to browse items from one or all of the gridwide hunts? The most comprehensive collection that I've found is at Schnaeppchen's blog (once at her blog hit the hunt button on the top navigation to see just hunt freebies), but be aware that she does provide direct links to items & or spoilers which may have expired additionally you may have to use a translator as she speaks German. But, you will be able to see the bulk of most hunts displayed on her sight. Both men's freebie blogs: Free Finds for Men & Fashion Freebies for Men have done a really outstanding job of providing thorough coverage of the items from the Make Him Over Hunt. Free Finds for Men has even gone so far as to provide categorized hunt prize post. So if you want a t-shirt you could look and see which stores provided t-shirts, or outfits, or jackets, or jewelry, etc.... and visit that particular vendor from the Make Him Over Hunt. One other blog worth mentioning Hunt Location blog does not include photos, but instead provides hints & slurl location for hunts. This is truly a great idea for a blog & fills a needed void in freebie bloging due to the amount of current hunts.

Ok, so on with the freebies I've collected over the last week:

Lya Seerose of I (less than three symbol) Rein and formerly of Seerose Shapes and Tattoos has a couple of killer tats in her Lucky Boards which change about every 10 minutes. This will be the first grid-wide hunt to end this month. This is sponsored by another freebie blog The Look What the Cat Brought blog and they cover the prizes of the hunt organized by them more thoroughly on their blog. Even though this is a grid-wide hunt, it is rather small with under 30 vendors participating - so don't be intimidated. You'll want to pick up a note card from the hunt information board when you start. The note card will show examples of the items you'll want to find (prim ball of yarn, texture of cat paw, or texture of fish bones). The official blog doesn't have previews, and I've only picked up a handful of items from this hunt. The prizes are all really nice, I've just been busy. One thing that is rare and I think bares note is that there is a prize from Kiko Life (Ethnic Shapes & Skin, Kiko (194, 30, 28) which consisst of 6 female skins shades of non-white skins from light to ebony. Hat is from Nushru and is also an OMG Not another Hunt, Hunt prize.

Last Day - Relay for Life Clothing Fair

Sunday will be the last day of the Relay for Life clothing fair. There are 8 sims full of vendors. I hope by covering some of the items that are generously offered you will feel so inclined to be equally generous and purchase whatever you can from the Relay for Life vendors which help us all fight against cancer. ^^ The items featured are just a few of the free and $1 items offered. There are a lot more free items. Don't forget to look at the relay for life vendors because there were several with $1 items offered.

There is a landing point set for each sim and upon landing you will be offered a free low prim outfit. Prims and scripts cause lag. The more prims, scripts, and avatars the more lag there will be. So please shed these items and respect the charitable purposes of these sims.



The outfit comes with both a male & female varation and is copy & transfer so feel free to pass it on if asked. The panda skin is my usual low-lag skin that I run around in sans clothing made by Creamolicious Cooljoke the leader of the Slfreestylers. It was found in a hunt, but is her full permitions contribution to fighting lag.

I'm trying to play catch up and show some of the store owner's items that have sent me things to share. Because I didn't receive the item in world with the note cards from the owners, I'm not sure how long any of these items may be available. So while roaming around this week, I noticed one of my favorite dress & fairy clothes store had some lucky boards at two places. At the first location in Greece you'll find 4 boards from Pas De Deux & 3 additional boards from other stores. I was lucky enough to win a skin on the [42] lucky chair it has the lovely purple swirls aorund one eye. And while there Sara told me to check out Aryanna's Closet which has a ton of small boutique stores and most complete outfits were $75 or less! I also stopped by the Medieval-Fantasy Gorean Fair and found it really relaxing! Since this area is small (only about 1/2 of a sim) you'll want to stroll around. There's free and $1 items in most shops or some outside on carts along with information on several Gorean Sims. You'll find free & $1 silks, medieval, & free persons attire all are available for male and female avatars. I also spied a $1 mermaid tail, lucky box, & hair. Check out the docks for several $0 items. And there's an upcoming hunt according to their website. At Magika I bought two boxes of Discontinued items on the information board next to the lucky fortuness. Each was $10. The hairs has 3 styles of hair in various colors and the skins come in various goth appropriate shades. I also stepped inside the hair store and purchased another skin for $1 and noticed there's a wall of hair on sale -- so go check this store out. Free Woman & Slave Silks

Merchant Tarl - Gorean Apparel & Weapons has a vendor with 29 available outfits priced at $1 each. You'll find several silks for men (2) and several free woman's dresses (9) along with many, many, silks for females. You may also find two gift boxes of female Christmas themed silks for free ($0) next to the lucky chair dispensing female (lingerie?) items. The letter changes every 20 minutes on the chair. Hair is from House of Heart Designs which is having one of those super secret sales right now. (The style is in no way indictive of what may be on sale.)
