Stiletto Summer

It has been a while since I slipped into a pair of Moody's, but Stiletto Moody has made the most of a sizzling hot Summer, and released a new line of ridiculously sexy shoes. The Grace Range includes multiple styles, all with the traditional super high stiletto silhouette and sexy well arched foot style. If you are a fan of the brand you will surely love these updates and the hot colors and python textures, metal accessory options and more.The Stiletto Moody shoes still utilize the invisi-prim, pre-viewer 2 construction that feature a two part shoe, a lower portion and an ankle piece. Up In The Air

These have been out for a while, but shoes this sky high and fabulous deserve a bit more attention, wouldn't you agree? The BARE Mae from Stiletto Moody feature a sexy military inspired twist with corded loops and brass buttons, and that high collared ankle piece. This upscale open toed bootie was the perfect match for my new hair from W & Y, and sexy buttoned up 3 piece look from bijou, mile high style and more!

Another new release from Stiletto Moody, this one is an elegant open-toed stiletto with soaring height and a belted ankle strap that gives these shoes a bit of edge. Much like the other releases in the BARE line, the Anita Shoes have that menu of options for color matching of skin, nail polish shades, metal options, etc. I am wearing the newly released Payton Dress from Baiastice, this rich purple shade and super short mini work perfectly with the shoes, I also added plenty of chunky silver accessories to complete the look.

It seems like forever since I posted, and it kinda has been, sorry folks. I return today with news of sexy new releases from everyone's favorite designer to talk about, Stiletto Moody. The Big 5-0-0 & More!

Yep, another 'On Your Toes' Milestone. Hard to believe it has been 500 posts already! Once again I will take this opportunity to thank the incredible content creators of Second Life, who continue to create all those wonderful shoes, boots, and feet, that make my passion for shoe blogging endlessly rewarding. Despite all the negative forces that seem to get in the way of business in today's virtual marketplace, the footwear designers of SL are responsible for great leaps in innovation and remarkable creativity. I couldn't take a single stylish step without you!

Great appreciation to the other contributors, readers and followers of 'On Your Toes', I value the time you give to chase my feet around the grid, your feedback, and your great tips and finds. From the start of my journey on this blog way back in December of 2007, with my dear friend Graciana McMillan, I have never gotten tired of showing off the fantastic fashions of Second Life. If you are interested in more information about how this blog got started you can find that here.

As I look ahead to the upcoming '2009 SL® Footwear Expo' , starting on November 22nd and running until December 6th, I expect we will be sharing many more special shoe moments together in the future!

Moody Romance

Lingerie and stilettos have a tendency to gravitate toward one another, and in the virtual world, where certain luxuries are hard to live without, pairing sexy footwear with lingerie usually leads to the taking of pictures. Perhaps it was only natural then that a very special piece of furniture find it's way into the mix, setting the mood and creating some of my favorite blog snaps in recent memory.

Stiletto Moody has released some additional and enticing new textures for my favorite BARE Lauren shoes, a second color set full of punchy brights and hot rich shades, a trio of metallic flecked 'Diamante' finishes, and even a series of remarkable animal inspired textures, Alligator and Leopard, a visit to the SM Boutique will be filled with high-heeled eye candy and difficult decisions. Another new style in the BARE Collection is the Elizabeth shoe, similar in flavor to the Lauren but with a wide zippered ankle 'cuff' instead of the more demure ribbon wrapping of the Lauren.

I have owned pose filled modeling chaises before, this by far is my favorite, both for the quality and variety of the poses and the simplicity of use. It is also pretty attractive as a piece of furniture, and comes in a few very appealing colors.

SkyHigh Strap-ups from Stiletto Moody

It's been a while since I tried any semi-artistic photography for the blog, so I felt it was high time... or 'skyhigh' time... to have a bit of fun. As a previous owner of the Stiletto Moody SkyHigh Boots, I was intrigued when word reached me that a new release, or at least a new accessory release, for this great boot was available. The brand new Strap-ups upgrade adds even more wow factor to these already incredibly tall boots, wrapping the entire foot and leg with leather straps in complimentary and contrasting shades.

The Strap-ups feature is incorporated into the existing boot drop-down menu, once rezzing the upgrade package you simply wear your SkyHigh Boots and initiate the accessory, very simple. You do need to own the boots, or purchase the boots and the upgrade at the same time. The boots and straps do come in an assortment of 6 shades, the straps come in 2 slightly different variations, straps with trim and without, you get all 12. You can still choose not to wear the straps even after you incorporate the upgrade. Metal change options; Gold, Silver and Graphite still apply to the overall boot. What All the Fuss Is About...

So the 'Lag Gods' and luck have been on my side a little bit today, and I was able to make my way over to the Stiletto Moody 2 sim (no easy task!) to see all the excitement. Some of the other fortunate few able to get to the store complained of slow rez rates and were curious about all the shoes included in the release, so I played camera spy for a few minutes between crashes and managed to get away with these Polaroids.

Please note these are just unedited snaps taken with low settings and no special lighting, so my apologies to Stiletto Moody & Crew if they aren't the best representations. Seemingly off topic, maybe, but really a whole bunch of fun. This latest release from Stiletto Moody managed to slip by most of us in the madness of pink and red bloggery that seemed to dominate the feeds around Valentine's Day, but the Glam Bootie is well worth some attention and I am back from my mini-break to do just that. This is a sleek and modern styled platform bootie, rather sculptural in it's details - the platform is hidden allowing for one uniform color on the upper surfaces of the boot, while the traditional Badseed Red and Heart emblemed underside, along with the multi-option chain and heart charm details add a bit of rock star punch to the look of these undoubtedly Glam Booties.

A bit of rock and roll was my fashion inspiration for this look, and while I have never really been a blond in Second Life, but after finding this really cute hairstyle by Mikan that was only available in blond I reconsidered. The mangled long & short denims from Spice & Sugar over the Star Mania leggings from Fuel look cool enough, and I threw on a pair of Maitreya's prim socks for good measure. The top is from C. Smit, some great tops worth checking out can be found at her shop. Bangles from Armidi (re-colored by me) and from Jador/Bandit are the final touches.

Taking It Off for Valentine's Day

My plan for today, spend a bit of time in the Nude. Really BARE it all for something very special, from someone very special. Now, I could be talking about my sweetheart, and that would certainly be an Anessa approved way to spend the day, but actually I am talking about a more specific nude and my source was very specific.

No major holiday would be complete without some kind of treat from the hot little hands of Stiletto Moody & Co., and every girl can count on a pair of completely fabulous stilettos to make her smile even if the man of your dreams fails to TP into your day, roses in hand etc., etc. So here is your fair warning, be sure and get yourself into the Stiletto Moody Group early today, as there is a chance enrollment may be closed.
