BeeBee's a SLinky Goddess

Siddean Munro of SLink gets better and better with every release. Her latest, the BeeBee ankle boots are, in a word, spectacular.

Today, Siddean released a special festive limited edition version of red & green, with a white fur trim and some little jingle bells. I'm not normally a holiday type of girl, but one look at these made me change my mind. Now, I already had the fatpack of these luscious leather cuties, because I hightailed it right over as soon as I got my notice of their existence, but I needed the festive ones too!


I love all of the interesting features of these, like the strap going under the heels and the zipper tab. The suede and the leather textures are amazingly done, and Siddean tells me besides (legitimately) sourcing the actual textures, the entire rest is all hand-done.

Each colour is L$650 each, and if you're like me and prefer to buy fatpacks where possible (it's a sickness, an awesome sickness), it's only $2900, which is slightly more than 50% off! The Xmas edition is only $150.

Bootie Lover

This latest release from Stiletto Moody managed to slip by most of us in the madness of pink and red bloggery that seemed to dominate the feeds around Valentine's Day, but the Glam Bootie is well worth some attention and I am back from my mini-break to do just that. This is a sleek and modern styled platform bootie, rather sculptural in it's details - the platform is hidden allowing for one uniform color on the upper surfaces of the boot, while the traditional Badseed Red and Heart emblemed underside, along with the multi-option chain and heart charm details add a bit of rock star punch to the look of these undoubtedly Glam Booties.

A bit of rock and roll was my fashion inspiration for this look, and while I have never really been a blond in Second Life, but after finding this really cute hairstyle by Mikan that was only available in blond I reconsidered. The mangled long & short denims from Spice & Sugar over the Star Mania leggings from Fuel look cool enough, and I threw on a pair of Maitreya's prim socks for good measure. The top is from C. Smit, some great tops worth checking out can be found at her shop. Bangles from Armidi (re-colored by me) and from Jador/Bandit are the final touches.

The little elves over at Redgrave have been working overtime to bring us more incredible shoe releases. Miss Viola Leigh is the head elf, and these yummy Icerock Booties have her combining wood, leather, metal details and fur. Hey Biddle Biddle...

In case you all were wondering where I've been, and I *know* you were wondering...well I'm on location for the 80's One Hit Wonder Come Back tour. So you can only fathom how thrilled I was when I saw these cuties by valentine Biddle of Biddle Boots. All kidding aside these really are adorable short boots, and the heel is killer cool! Rare Beauties

Maitreya's latest, called the Mishima Dawn, is named after a rare exotic orchid... how fitting. This pump with ankle boot aspirations is the most amazingly complete shoe yet released by Onyx and Beau, and the fit is awe inspiring. The colours are muted and earthy, the textures run the gambit from soft to speckled suedes, and rough to high shine patent leathers, and crocs... all of which are rendered with undeniable precision. Shown below is the Patent Tan, my personal fave.

There are 25 variations in all, some -much like the Slinky Stiletto- come with optional steel heel accents. Fashion for Fido...as long as the dog doesn't chew my shooos!

Mark the day on March 6th is the start of the "Fashion for Fido" charity auction! Raising funds for the K-9 New Life Center, ONE OF A KIND designs and special creations will be offered on the block!

The Bien Fait...

I was out roaming for some new clothes when I stumbled upon the shoe section at Adam n Eve, and I have to say this is a place I'm going to check out more often. I had to pick up a pair of the Bien Fait booties by Damen Gorilla and then play dress up to show off my new kicks. These shoes come in a wide array of colors and of course have a demo to try before you buy. I liked that the demo seemed to give you just about every color to put on one foot.
