Sexy in Red

Another sexy ankle boot release from Bax Coen's Bax Boots, this time in hot Red Patent. If you are familiar with these amazing boots and all their options and features you will be pleased to know they all turn up again in this boot. For those who may have missed it, I am referring to the customizable aspects of the boot... metals, laces, trims, toppers, sizing, and so on. I have to thank Azufr3 Catteneo for his assistance in creating the fantastic image to accompany this blog post, apparently candy apple red patent leather can inspire a man to do all sorts of things.

StyleCard: Bax Boots & Bijou

Sometimes the right shoe and the right outfit seem to materialize at just the right second, and in this case it was worth staying up late to get them blogged. Bax Coen one of my all time favorite boot creators dropped her latest on me tonight, just as I saw the newness at Bijou come up on the feed. Off I dashed to get this amazing and versatile Phantom Dance outfit, and I couldn't be more pleased with the finished look.

Bax's Black Patent Ankle Boots have the most wonderful shape and texturing. They are an easy cross over for cutting edge fashion looks as well as those more intimate styles that involve latex, rubber and a whole lot of sexy. As with her previously released white version, you get a full range of colour customizing options in a convenient HUD format, and size and AO options too. One of my favorite features of the boot is the colorable optional lace topper, worked well with this look when worn two ways.

The Phantom Dance set comes with all the requisite layers and then some, it was my pick of the new releases because between the jacket, pants and ruffled blouse there are so many mix and match possibilities here. I added a few great bangles from DeLa and the amazing Hunting Cap Hair from Argrace (currently at Hair Fair).

Rare Beauties

Maitreya's latest, called the Mishima Dawn, is named after a rare exotic orchid... how fitting. This pump with ankle boot aspirations is the most amazingly complete shoe yet released by Onyx and Beau, and the fit is awe inspiring. The colours are muted and earthy, the textures run the gambit from soft to speckled suedes, and rough to high shine patent leathers, and crocs... all of which are rendered with undeniable precision. Shown below is the Patent Tan, my personal fave.

There are 25 variations in all, some -much like the Slinky Stiletto- come with optional steel heel accents. In Living Color

When I first set eyes on the new Patent Leather Slinky Stilettos from Maitreya my initial reaction was, Wow! just look at all those delicious shades. Not only have they offered the additional shiny brights this go round, the entire Slinky has been revamped, the shape slightly enhanced since my original review.

I already loved them so much, but when deciding on how to best present to you these gorgeous shades I remembered how badly I wanted to shoot some photos on Silent the amazing sim created by Kyoot Army creator Saeya Nyanda. I enlisted my co-blogger Graciana to join me in the land of film noire. I think the shots speak for themselves.

This fresh batch from the talented sculptress Onyx LeShelle features a really nice shine texture. They come in the following shades; Yellow, Red, Fuchsia, Blue, Wine, Nude, Silver, Gold and White. And some great Black options; Black Patent, Black Patent with Red Soles, and Black Patent with Purple Soles. These colour just 'Pop'!

They come with the optional brassy gold steel accents (silver steel on the sliver pair naturally) and optional heel clicks - for those of you who like to be heard making an entrance. These shoes are show stoppers and they speak to your good taste and fashionista flair - even in Silence.
