StyleCard: TESLA Vixen Desire

Six inches is something to celebrate, especially when they belong to the new Vixen Desire stilettos from Tesla. Creating a shoe with this kinda height requires some special attention, and Tesla found a way to go higher than the typical SL foot allows, by adding a fancy schmancy script to the shoes. As long as you put your shoes on in an area that allows scripts to run, the raised foot effect will remain engaged no matter where you go. These shoes are available in eleven deliciously shiny patent colors, or fatpack these babies to maximize that sexy, sexy height! Tesla also threw in a great crossed leg sit pose so you can show off those fantastic legs.

The Sexy Spangle

COCO knocked my socks off with it's latest release, the Spangles Stiletto Heel. This sexy new shoe features a sculpted foot and toes on a sexy high leather sole with spangled toe strap, banded elastic ankle wraps, and my favorite detail, a laced up back. The Spangle Stilettos come in 3 variations - gold, silver and black toe straps - black is shown here. But at 300L$ per pair you could afford to make more than one choice.


On the plus side there is only one shoe attachment point here, making these a viable option if you like wearing a cuffed capri and don't want to give up your cuffs. Shoes are not resizable, but they come in 2 sizes and I strongly recommend you try the demo to make sure you will be happy with the fit. Color change is not difficult, it uses the same RGB and brightness button adjustments as we have seen before - but - each shoe is controlled separately, meaning it is possible that you can end up with feet of slightly different shades, or take notes of your clicks so you can duplicate on to the other.


I went for more dark and sexy with the newly released Galizie dress from The Plastik, it's cut outs and leg garter seemed to compliment the shoes well. Hair is sexy, mussed and shorter - another great style from DETOUR. Shopping Details Listed Below.

A quick update for you on the latest from SLink footwear. Siddean Munro has 2 more great styles, created for 2 different kinds of girls... or maybe the same girl who likes to change up her style frequently.


The Hattie Sandals are a great moderate height heeled shoe with sweet straps that wrap the foot and ankle, an attractive sculpted flower ornament decorates the top of the foot. The Hattie Sandals come with texture change features for shoe color, nails, and toe rings.


For the girl who is serious about her stilettos comes the Spike Heel Stiletto, not only is the heel a significant spike on it's own, but the shoe is equiped with a dangerous set of metal spikes on the toe and the ankle strap. A Closer Look at Giusia

Like pretty much every other blogger and fashionista on the grid, I made my way over to Giusia, the hot new store that opened on Friday. It has some stylish Men's and Women's clothing, accessories, skins and yes... shoes. I was truly excited about the store and it's contents, and eager to present more than just the shoes today, thanks for humoring me... but just look at these yummy skins and outfits... so impressed.

There are currently 2 styles of shoe available; the Ginevra and the Sculpted Stiletto. The Ginevra is a sexy little slingback with a lovely shape and some great texturing work. I was pleased with the overall look of the shoe and the dozens of colour options, some minor sculpted glitches in my viewer, but i would more than likely attribute that to rezzing issues as the shoes look great in the photos. The Sculpted Stiletto is a great basic pump, high shine and contrast heel, or monochromatic in some shades. Nicely done for first releases from Giusia. See below photos for shopping details. Undeniably LeeZu

I was tipped off in the wee hours of the morning by fellow model and friend Francesca Balogh, a LeeZu Baxter Designs employee, that she had awoken to some of the most fabulous shoes created by LeeZu Baxter herself... and asked if I had seen them. Well I had not, but after receiving some 16 pairs and a demo pair from LeeZu just a short while later, I can tell you that I am sure glad I have now.

The Klara Stilettos are really true to LeeZu's style with a uniquely organic feel, textures that give the effect of painterly brush strokes and spectacular sculpted ornamentation. The shoes can be worn with or without a leg attachment that combines soft transparent shapes, beads and a delicate bow it comes in 3 sizes for accurate fitting. They look great either way, and with 16 colors on offer I am confident you will fall in love with one or all of them!

Athena

Greek mythology tells us that Athena was the goddess of wisdom, war, the arts, industry, justice and skill. It is a fitting name then for the latest creation of Tesla Miles, a creator who continues to excel at making products of high quality, ingenuity and in my opinion some of the most unique footwear around. She is also fiercely committed to fighting against content theft/copybot use and I certainly think Tesla is a talented little shoemaker. I just had no idea she had something this darn sexy up her sleeve.

The Athena combines all the stunning quality of her previously released Ziggy Boots, which were a great success and one of the treasures of my footwear wardrobe, with stiletto height and open toes. They are really well textured with a lighter looking fabric and happily for the non stick-legged amongst us they come equipped with scripted resizable parts. I love the 5 available color combos, something for everyone - and quite possible a need to have them all!

Sale Alert! Maybe it's just news to me, but yesterday I discovered that FNKY has marked down it's footwear collection by, as near as I can tell, as much as half price (if someone knows for sure I'd be happy to post the details). I've been eyeing the T Strap pumps for a good while now, and was happy to grab these pink ones up for the very reasonable sale price.

Adam n Eve Seductress

Damen Gorilla over at Adam n Eve reached new heights this week with the release of these Seductress stilettos. I reached new heights too, dressing in sweet Ivalde Hlin a superb Harlequin inspired suit (worn here without the sweater), and climbing into a golden cage at the fabulous scene of yesterday's Ivalde/Elegance Hats show put on by Nex-Core.

The shoes are rich in hue and sport a mean spike - watch out fellas, these shoes are dangerous. The Seductress heels come in 14 shades, show above are; Indigo, Black, Crimson, Old Gold, Pewter and Purple. Available at Adam n Eve.

In Step with Maitreya

Onyx LeShelle was kind enough to share her new releases with me today. She had actually hinted to me soon after the ChiChi debuted that there might be some suede in my future, I am pleased to share with you the new Verve Pumps from Maitreya. As always, the very best in rounded toed pump goodness, with similar features to the ChiChi but an amazingly high more traditionally styled heel.

The Verve comes in 9 muted and rich shades, and are a perfect carry over shoe from winter to spring. They also come with 2 sole options, a black and a light natural leather - making it even more versatile. The suede texture that Maitreya has created is second to none, and the shape and attention to detail are really superbly done (I learned that I wear size 38.5!). Colors are; Violet (Shown Above), Blue, Plum, Lavender Blush, Green, Black, Red, Brown & Olive.

I also found them to work amazingly well with the previously released sueded Anklets. The Anklets also come in an amazing 9 colors - 9 seems to be the magic number, not to mention an abundance of amazing violets and purples. The Anklets are a great shoe accessory and come with either a uniform 1 color version or with a contrasting black lace.

Also new today are 9 - yep 9 again - new shades of the pointed toe Slinky Stilettos, they consist of mostly brights, and brights are certainly what this coming spring is all about. Colors are; Grape, Pine Green, Tawny, Steel Blue, Lilac, Lime Green, Pink, Turquoise and Purple. Also check out the redesigned shoe department at the flagship store on Glam World 2.

On the CourtX...

My old friend Zach has a special eye for shoes...I think his wife, Lilee might just be one of the luckiest girls in SL. So when Zach let me know he saw some shoes I might like, I tp'd right over. He was as always, right. The CourtX pumps are shiny and sexy, and full of fire. I grabbed the venetian red, but they are also come in a glossy black. The CourtX are made by Adrina Welders of AW Design and run $415L a pair. Her shop has a lot of various items for sale and when I spoke to her she plans on releasing more shoes in the future. LOVE and LUST: Stiletto Moody Spring Preview

The past 24 hours have been pretty spectacular in the life of this shoe blogger. Last night I had the privilege of meeting the head siren on Stilettos, Stiletto Moody, and her boutique manager Dancer Dallagio. I was escorted into the inner chambers of the Stiletto Moody headquarters and given a look at the very top secret and utterly fantastic Spring Preview, a collection of 4 new styles that will satiate those among us who have just been salivating for something new from Moody... some of us more patiently than others.

Instead of my usual creative shot and straight shoe pics - time being of the essence here - I have decided to tease you with some sexy photos of these mini masterpeices of footwear, in hopes that you will run, not walk, to Stiletto Moody to take a closer look for yourselves before scooping them up as soon as they hit the shelves tomorrow at 4 PM game time!

Top to bottom are; O Wedge (Black), Foxy Wedge (Pink), O Wedge Tie (Silver), Elegant Slingback (Rose Gold).

The O Wedges are absolute pieces of art, amazing crossover footwear that appeals to both a fetish driven buyer and those of us who see them as sculptural masterpieces we can wear. Moody herself is referring to them as "fashion-meets-fetish", and I couldn't agree more... even though my fetish is for fashion! The sleeker heel cup version(shown in all black) is my personal favorite, while the option with the heel ties allows for custom fitting, versatility and added bling factor.

The Foxy Wedges (shown in pink) pack a whole bunch of goodness into one shoe... the familiar Louboutin-esque uppers mated with a knock out wedge in 9 color combinations - these are spectacular!

And then there is the sweet darling of the Spring Preview, the Elegant Slingback. The keen eyed among you might remember seeing a sneak peak way back when the store first opened, you will be happy to know it's back, better than ever, and in 3 colors - including the Rose Gold shown here, which I adore.

It seems so fitting with Valentine's Day just around the corner that Stiletto Moody has given us more to love... err, lust after. In Living Color

When I first set eyes on the new Patent Leather Slinky Stilettos from Maitreya my initial reaction was, Wow! just look at all those delicious shades. Not only have they offered the additional shiny brights this go round, the entire Slinky has been revamped, the shape slightly enhanced since my original review.

I already loved them so much, but when deciding on how to best present to you these gorgeous shades I remembered how badly I wanted to shoot some photos on Silent the amazing sim created by Kyoot Army creator Saeya Nyanda. I enlisted my co-blogger Graciana to join me in the land of film noire. I think the shots speak for themselves.

This fresh batch from the talented sculptress Onyx LeShelle features a really nice shine texture. They come in the following shades; Yellow, Red, Fuchsia, Blue, Wine, Nude, Silver, Gold and White. And some great Black options; Black Patent, Black Patent with Red Soles, and Black Patent with Purple Soles. These colour just 'Pop'!

They come with the optional brassy gold steel accents (silver steel on the sliver pair naturally) and optional heel clicks - for those of you who like to be heard making an entrance. These shoes are show stoppers and they speak to your good taste and fashionista flair - even in Silence.

That Tesla Girl.

Tesla Miles is a girl with a reputation. She is widely recognized as one of the pioneers of using sculpted prims in wearables. It all started with a fantastic line of sculpted hats, but now it is her shoes that we just can't seem to resist. Amazingly enough, as good as she is, she just keeps getting better. And now with her own sim 'Tesla', open and welcoming shoppers and fun seekers alike, we pause to take a look at what's new from this pussycat.

Alright, the Ziggy Boots have been out for a bit now, but I couldn't not blog these fantastic things. They are a true fashion statement all on their own. Retro laced boots with perfect details and texturing, available in amazing color combinations and fabrications. They are pretty special all on their own, so I didn't even bother to pair them with any specific outfit. I gathered a few friends together to help me show these babies off - and they just wouldn't give them back! Grab a pair or pairs for yourself... shoe love at it's finest!

I had planned on blogging Tesla's Natasha Stilettos a while back, but holidays being what they are... just didn't happen. A Hot Date with Maitreya

I was feeling a bit blue about facing the obligatory SL New Year's Eve parties dateless... because apparently, watching Clemson play in the Chick-fil-a Bowl is a big deal. And then Onyx LeShelle smiled down at me from shoe heaven, and sent me not one, but two, hot dates for New Year's Eve.
