Bookshelves

When i'm 'grown up', one of the things i'd love to have in my house is bookshelves going from the floor to the ceiling. I've had a love affair with these for years. I always feel like a bit of a cheat when it comes to buying books, however, as half the time (if not more) it takes me atleast a year to get round to reading them. I love to read and to write especially, but i'm not the sort of person that can stay inside to do either thing for a great amount of time. Even if i love the book, i can't stand any more than three hours without going scatty. Much of my motivation, though i'm ashamed to say it, for buying a book is to fill up my bookshelf - not only because i love the way a filled bookshelf looks, but so that i can imagine i genuinely read all this stuff. Some of my favourite places to be in are bookshops, especially when it's raining outside. Bliss.
