I don't know about you all but I've been finding myself hiding inside due to the cold and lack of cash. I get scared about leaving the house and spending money. Which is stupid in a way because well when I do go out I meet the coolest people and we network. However being inside has really forced me to search out new tunes all over myspace. One thing I've been indulging in every Sunday is venturing out to Brooklyn at Loving Cup to listen to the lovely Paige Wood sing her sets. I have a new partner in crime and her name is Robin Vin-T Bikini designer extraordinaire!!! She hand cuts vintage t-shirts into hot durable bikinis that are all one of a kind.

I'd say 90% of her collection inspiration heavily relies on Rock N Roll which is what makes it so hot. She also cuts up other miscellaneous T's in an effort to expand her clientele...Vin-T is a total hit within the Malibu Beverly Hills community and soon she'll be a hit here for sure.

Because she wears Bows,toured with Paige Wood my kickass rockstar blondie,and wears Mandate of heaven and is a phenomenal pop diva making pop music respectable again just like The Ting Tings!!!

Angel Lust Sponsor Free Swag Bag

In true indie fashion I've take the past week in putting together a sponsor free goody bag for GOSSIP GIRL NIGHT'S debut at POP BURGER...This is a free participation effort at no cost has any company paid me to advertise. I'm moving up and am inviting you to come with me.In an effort to keep the spirit of young designers and small businesses downtown and alive I am in the process of arranging 25 VIP bags for the Press. I want to drive the uptown girls and boys downtown (hopefully with their black cards).


My experience with the press is,today's kids seem to only know what is cool if they are told,so let's tell them what is. We are at a point in time post "Sex in the City" error when designers are throwing things to the stylist to place on set. Major brands are pitching things to the writers to get their 15 seconds hoping it leads to fifteen million dollars in sales. Two bags are already set aside at the request of 2 magazine editors.

PR wonder-girl Lee at SABON,has helped with this squeaky clean press op by arranging heart shaped SABON soaps in the color pink to sit inside the swag!!!

I feel as if the idea of this blog is finally beginning to do what it was meant. I wanted my brand to be recognized and associated with other cool artist and businesses while doing a good deed (THANK YOU soooo much WearYourMusic.org)...Not only is having something so Rock N'Roll in my girly little bag soooo "Angel Lusty" but it's totally a hot good deed!!!

The Pierces Part Deux!!!

Actually it's part 3 but I didn't make the first show now... Every week the crow gets bigger and more enthusiastic. In line there where a few pushy over zealous creepy fans and I was all "Geez kiddies this is The Pierces can we all get along???"Once inside the venue a certain new breeding stalker bloak threw a fit that there where seats saved for Alison's in laws.

Anyway whenever I go to see these 2 rock country chicks, I feel like I'm like the cool teenage girl (I'm 31) who snuck into the local girly gyspsie carnival for hot chicks and little instruments. Seriously every girl in the audience is a smoking hot fan or sibling....And its cool to be able to go hang out on Ludlow street in a venue packed with cool non-hipsters...The Pierce's tend to attract sexy southern local city gals!!!

Next Tuesday is the last sets kids/stalkers!!! Get your lipstick on and sexy sun dresses ready for the last hurrah!!!

Every Artist has her Muse!!!

I have so many of them,and I feel blessed to know so many beautiful,quirky,crazy individuals of all fields and paths of life. I don't hold any prejudice. The GIRLZ that inspire me remind me of certain parts of my life and others that represent something I can't even grasp. So here are a few of my favorite muse.....


This little Lolita eccentric reminds me of me in my late teens till 22 or so. Wandering the East Village in crazy beautiful mode and chilling out in simple cheap places. simplicity suits me best. I'm an old fashioned gal,and ordinary girl living in an extraordinary world.


My NYC ballerina,turned model turned actress and all time fashionista Kat-Bunny. She's my BFF currently residing in the UK at a posh theater school. She's danced before a thousand eyes and sipped Sophia Coppola champagne in a pink can before a personal audience. Kat has a closet full of vintage prom dresses toe shoes and designer jeans and killer individual taste!!!


To the right is Melissa, a party girl I met while I worked at Betsey Johnson on Madison Ave back in the day. We ran the store like our own personal club house. The boss never came in. She's just a nice art student gal pal from Queens with a quick wit and sick sense of humor!!!


Alison and Catherine Pierce aka The Pierce's...I just turn on their music and the ideas just flow my way hands down, and no effort. Plus I've been into this kind of rock n roll since I was a kid. These 2 chicks have such effortless beauty. When you see them out they probably don't even have any makeup on.

I'm gonna bet that a bunch of you L.E.S hipsters love Sam Ronson for her beats,style and acoustics that have been pumping her career to a top notch bi coastal DJ. Sometimes the media takes and opportunity to say some nasty BS about the androgynous woman. Like as if anyone should give a F*CK what her sexuality is. no one cared to question 60's model Twiggy???!!! I think the tabs can get to anyone once in awhile. Even when your not looking for trouble. The Paporazi and asshole celeb bloggers without a hint of respect, love to egg on. She's got style, unique style, and excellent taste Diore Homme (Brilliant)...Ahhh guess its the price you pay for having friends in the bright Celebrity blood lust life of Hollywood.

Earth Friendly!!!

So Earth Day is coming up, and as designers we hold a certain amount of responsibility to create product that is eco-friendly. My publicist Mylan at Bui-Lavry PR has really got me thinking on all sorts of different ways to influence this cause. I will be participating in an earth day charity she will be setting up.

You all need to check out EDUN. It is designed by Bono's wife and my friends The Pierce's can be seen modeling these earthly duds!!!

Ronson Cool!!!

With a step dad who is an X rock star to Foreigner, a celebrity stylist mama Anne-Dexter Jones, big brother DJ Mark who is up for a Grammy or so, and a couple of twins (Charlotte the constant uprising fashion designer and sis Samantha who is following in her brother's steps as a top notch DJ) oh yeah and a few beautiful youngsters.The Ronson Family couldn't get any cooler if they tried, "could they?"....Actually yes it looks like they could.


Charlotte Ronson is a continually uprising fashion designer who is taking over the world as she has recently opened up a store in Japan and is sold every where else. and she is only 30. Her designing has come a long way from a simple lingerie/t shirt line that once sold in a very small boutique she owned in NYC's Nolita district. She now has an even bigger store in the same neighborhood located on Mulberry Street. The store is packed with her entire clothing and shoe line. Its all a pretty place to stop and just gaze at the wall paper and pin up girl posters. Jen the manager is always a friendly ready and willing sales girl who will help but not push you in a corner to buy something. Charlotte's collection has really advanced in design detail over the years from lapels to plackets right down to the very button placement. Right on Char!!!

They've all got style passion and direction and OMG obviously a set of morale and values. You won't find the socialites stepping out of limos missing a pair of panties. Finally some famous role models have arrived. College educated and all.


Samantha not only DJ's all over Hollywood,but is a singer song writer as well. Everyone should check out her myspace page for a taste of her vocals.

I know we usually don't focus on the famous and fabulous on this page. But after all Charlotte started out way small despite coming from a family fortune. One of the few who didn't dive directly into the big time but rather used baby steps other than rely on daddy. How humbling that is. No immediate runway shows and insta-fame!!!

Oh and don't forget VOTE RONSON!!!

A couple of nights ago my boyfriend Will Rockwell Scott played at Piano's with Reno Bo, he has an amazing voice. After they were finished I ran in my heels around the block to the Annex to catch my well dressed singer songwriter Paige Wood. Here are some stills from that night. I've always loved Rock and Roll since I was born. My boy and I agreed Paige has the best dressed chicks at her shows. But Reno had our good pals The Pierces at his show, the stunning ladies who got to make a special appearance on "Gossip Girl"!!!

I met him last month at Pat Field's Barbie extravaganza I knew of him but thought when I saw him he was some kind of indie designing magazine journalist slash boy!!!
