I Wanna Rock n'Roll on the Beach

I have a new partner in crime and her name is Robin Vin-T Bikini designer extraordinaire!!! She hand cuts vintage t-shirts into hot durable bikinis that are all one of a kind.

I'd say 90% of her collection inspiration heavily relies on Rock N Roll which is what makes it so hot. She also cuts up other miscellaneous T's in an effort to expand her clientele...Vin-T is a total hit within the Malibu Beverly Hills community and soon she'll be a hit here for sure.

Last night I headed over to Gossip Girl Nights, appropriately held at a little Upper East Side spot called Pop Lounge. The weekly, fashionindie-sponsored event is the kind of thing that makes me wish I lived in NYC, or at least visited more. Every Monday a different designer from the show is featured. This week's event showcased Angel Lust by Kristen May, an adorable line of headbands and bows that are perfect for turning up the charm on your sweet (and even your not-so-sweet) outfits. The retro-style lounge was ideal spot for indulging in cocktails and appetizers and a few OMFGs, naturally, and when the episode ended I had a chance to chat with the incredibly sweet Kristen herself, along with a few of her friends. Topics ranged from vintage shopping to blogging to grandmas (yup), and my way out i was treated to a gift bag filled with chocolates from the Chocolate Bar at Bendel's (where Kristen's pieces have been showcased) and a few other girly treats. You can find Angel Lust headbands, including the must-have rockstar-inspired Spring 2009 collection at Patricia Field in NYC, revolveclothing.com, and at her Etsy shop. Aurelio Cotarrella brings on the Theatrics of Fashion

Aurelio Costarella's Spring 2009 was filled with airy earth tones such as muted yellow gowns,and light draped dresses. Aurelio made excellent use of ruffles. If I had to use one word for this collection,sculptural comes to mind. Not sculptural in the avant guard sense (how to make woman look awful and ridiculous). All silhouettes where sculpted to bring out the most sophisticated upscale woman who attend high end events.

I made an attempt to tape this show because you will see all the pictures online however you will miss out on the dreamy movement of the fabric,and watching the ruffles flounce!!! This show was conveniently shown after the Zac Posen show,so viewers could rush over to Aurelio who may not be as big as Zac put shows great potential if given the chance with backers and sponsors Aurelio Costarrella will have the ability to match or surpass Zac's shows without a doubt.

SHOP GRAND OPENING!!!

My favorite party so far...I Love Shop and all the SHOP keepers and every designer in the store. I look forward to a very promising future with SHOP to come!!!





Here is a video of the grand opening of IloveShop.com now located on 94 Grand Street in the heart of the Lower East Side. There where pink miniature cupcakes with heart shaped frosting and bottled champagne!!! A slew of customers. There is a lot to look forward to with a much bigger space of SHOP.In the future you can expect little local designer trunk shows with equally fabulous parties that will attract a slew of fashionista customers no doubt. Angel Lust earrings by 24 Karas

Hey all you can now buy the Angel Lust Logo earrings on etsy. They were created in a collaborative effort with my beautiful jewelry designing neighbor Liz Karas. She is the designer behind her line named 24Karas.Liz handcrafts the better bulk of her sea inspired jewels in the comfort of her own little cozy romantic apartment. Sometimes I go up there while she is sawing away at silver plates. Our pets Jezabelle my pooch and Cocopuff her cat both look alike and surprisingly love each other. You can expect more from us together in the future. I love it now that I am surrounded by such lovely unselfish talented young woman. We are all nurturing each other in an effort to move forward so we can quit our day jobs or freelance work and just pursue designing.

Brooklyn Bridge Fashion Show Coverage part deux!!!

I've got like 2 mins to update you on the Brooklyn Bridge show that I helped out with 2 nights ago. So everyone started gathering around the posh Fashion Indie office space in Dumbo around 3. Models where getting their hair done in one room and MAC was doing makeup in another,GURU energy drinks kept us awake as they where everywhere....Carissa Ackermen of Mandate of Heaven lent me her lovely little Mandate Girls so I had someone to primp their pretty little heads with my head pieces. I was like a stage mom throwing my girls in front of the BBC cameraman as well as ThreadBanger.com. It was a long night.

I took my little models on loan out for pizza under the bridge at Grimaldy's to say thank you.

Patricia Field for Payless Shoes part 2

Attention all 2000 of Patricia's closest friends that I handed my business card to. I'm posting this up at midnight I just got home. I'm doing it because you all begged me at the party so you better lay the comments down to show thanks. So here we go, UGH!!!! I hate doing the oh you're so fabulous talk...You know I know someone who knows someone who wears Karl Lagerfeld's hand me downs!!!! So I barely post my own pick on this blog since I usually hate the shot but here I am between Alek and Phillipe Blond. Phillipe is a boy by day and bombshell blond chick by night!!!

Now we have the gorgeous Kirsten Dunst look-a-like Noel in Mandate of Heaven, and I'm really jealous that she managed to snag the only vintage concert Led Zep t turned play suite with hoody available. So unfair!!! Carissa Ackerman of Mandate of Heaven and I chatted it up and I congratulated her on her blue tu tu making the Sex and the City display window!!!

Phillipe and David Blond are an awsome couple, they may not look down to earth (I swear they are) but fashion doesn't get less pretentious than this. LOL I told Phillipe he pulls off that Donatella sh*t pretty good,his I mean her friend Alek really found that funny. You see what I mean though, Right?

So you can always count on that slutty sensational look at Pat's parties,last year before Pat's birthday I went with Ayumie here, she's my hair-dresser who works at the Pat Field salon and does AMAZING dye jobs and extensions....Anyway people kept yelling out the window of their cars "How Much?" she got mad....

Now here is Guilda the new House of Field intern, she is from Singapore,goes to Parson's and speaks fluent Japanese because she studied there for 3 years...You will appreciate the t-shirt!

Everyone wanted to shut this chick up as she kept screaming you're fabulous I'm fabulous!!! OK we get it. Anyway she told me her name was Barbie Doll. She has hot hair.



I guess I should mention the shoes,but I was pretty much tipsy on cosmos the entire time. Every time I looked up a waiter was above me with a new glass....
FYI thanks to Blair Waldwarf of Gossip Girls even punk rock girls have got the bow look going on,or at least they will. Who are we kidding it never goes out of style!!!




Here we have the lovely Bijou Pepper/Bijou Flowers or whatever her name is this week,lets just call her Valerie. Shes such a pretty little muse....Her friend Clair was quite lovely,a budding songstress from the upper west side...


Every photographer at the extravaganza kept snapping the cameras at these FIT students and floor manager/senior stylist Mars. I believe the young kids made their outfits and are called the Glitter Kids???Sorry I wasn't taking notes this is all by memory.
