I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to blog here at On Your Toes with Anessa, Bells, Sophia and Tishi. Conveniently for me (and you!), Betty Doyle of Ingenue released the adorable Bridget Flats today. Flats are great with casual outfits where you really just want to be comfortable. These are great for those weekend shopping trips! Here, I've paired the Bridget Flats in Noir with a linen tunic from DCNY and shorts from LeLutka.

Prepare for Takeoff...

...and then put on a new pair of shoes, and then take off that pair and put on another. You get the idea?

Attention Shoe Lovers, this is Anessa your in-flight hostess speaking, a few notes before takeoff today. Please ensure that all lag causing scripts and excess prims have been removed before takeoff, all bulky sculpted items should be stowed in your overhead compartments, over-sized prims must be checked baggage. At this time I can inform you that the inflight movie will be The Devil Wears Prada, and we will be serving alcohol once the pilot turns off the seatbelt sign. In the meantime please ensure that you are buckled into your assigned seats and be prepared for teleportation delays due to high avatar numbers on the Shoe Fair sims. I thank you for flying Shoetopia Airlines, enjoy your shopping!

I am so pleased to be a blogger once again for the 2011 Shoe Fair. Over the next few days I plan to wisk you away around the Fair in search of great new shoes, hidden treasures, and enough stamps to fill up those empty passports! Ingenue is on a roll!

Betty Doyle, even with a ten month old baby, is kicking some serious ass lately, sending out new releases like a house on fire.  Hopefully, no one's house is actually on fire, but if it, save these shoes and screw everything else!

Ingenue's latest release is Dianthus, another pair of flats with a pointed toe and a darling little ruffle.  If you have to choose just one word, it's spectacular.

They're available in fifteen different colours at L$225 each, or the fatpack is L$2100.  So worth it.

Also worn is Ingenue's Leslie pants in Cherry, Artilleri's Carlita top in Black, Truth's Amanda hair in Cocoa, Dutch Touch's Sjors iLinerWine in Caramel, and Glow's DeLyn B&W Earrings.  Poses are by LAP.

The Beautiful Ingenue, Part Two

Ingenue has made shoes!  There are just not enough vintage stores on the grid, and ones that make vintage shoes?  Forget about it.  Luckily for us, the designers who do make vintage wear are really, really good at it.

Betty Doyle recently released two pairs of pumps, and now flats!  Unfortunately, I finished this photo before I found out about the flats, but I'm sure I'll be buying the fatpack and wearing out the virtual leather before long.

Both sets of pumps come in a bajillionty colours, and there are endless package deals you can buy.  For example, you can buy the extra-fat pack (or as Autumn calls it, the Fat But Still Pretty Pack), packages of a colour theme, like pastels or brights, or even three-packs.  I love choices, and Ingenue does not disappoint.

These shoes are really well done.  The textures are fantastic, and the prim work is really good.  And they're super cute to wear!  They include a resizeable script as well, which is good because I actually did have to resize them a little bit.

Anyhow, go get them.  They don't disappoint.  Teleport to Ingenue.

Additional items worn:

Ingenue - Edie sweater
Ingenue - Memo skirt
LeLutka - Purse
Fri.day - Cameron Hair
Dutch Touch - Gwen skin
Paper Couture - Chandy earrings

StyleCard: NX Kurvy Pumps & T-Straps

Oh, how I love my Retro. The new Kurvy Pumps from Nardya Rousselot's Nardcotix, NX, instantly give off a super sexy retro vibe. In my favorite color, red, it's easy to see why. Satiny red shoes wrapped in black trim and bow accents that have a sweet rounded toe and a perfectly sculpted heel. Whether you favour the pump version or the more elaborate T-Strap Mary Janes, the Kurvy shoes are an instant classic!

I paired mine with the recent releases from Ingenue, the Secretary Skirt in Ebon and Stenno Blouse in Ruby. The Secretary skirt can be worn a number of ways, with or without the peplum attachments (there are 2 options), a fantastic high waisted pencil skirt. The Stenno Blouse is a perfect partner to the skirt, I love the sculpted cuffs that are perfectly shaped, and the pretty prim collar.

Look for these Kurvy Shoes at Nardcotix.
