Claudia & Roxy

Siddean Munro's footwear line took a nice leap forward this past week with the release of two new styles, the Claudia Ballet Flats and the Roxy Mules. SLink is busily establishing itself as a place where you can find not only shoes, but clothing and skins as well - all seemingly executed with great care and attention to detail.

The Claudia Ballet Flats are a nicely pointed variation of this ever popular inventory item, a healthy sized sculpted bow adorns the toe... and we all know how I feel about my bows! There are a wide range of colour options and combinations available, here are just a sampling of some of my favorites.

These Roxy Mules are a fun style, and I really love what Siddean has done here - allowing for a nice assortment of animal print, textile and solid options. They have a nice height and attractive shape, also, some great texturing to achieve a wrinkled look on the upper. Shown below are only a few of the designs available. Another winner in my book.

New Jeepers Creepers shoes!!

Well it is not everyday that my favorite shoemaker decides to release some new shoes so when he does you can be sure I have to check them out. There were 2 new releases, the Toltec and the Sebastian. The ones featured in this blog though are the Toltec. So anyway, while trying to help Mui find the best 25 dresses in SL the other day we ended up going to see Raven Pennyfeather from house of Rfyre, and Raven told me about these shoes and how she planned on making an outfit inspired by them. So I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of the outfit and I must say that the Castaneda costume from House of Rfyre accompanys the Jeepers Toltec release perfectly.
I have to be honest and say that I love the way that these designers of the highest order are inspired by each other and make such wonderful things for us all to wear. The texturing in this release by Eponymous continues to be work of the highest order, as we have come to expect from all Jeepers Creepers releases. As you can see from the pictures, these shoes are a solid loafer style shoe that give an assertion of elegance and class.
One thing I like about the Jeepers Creepers shoe range is that each new release is so different to the last yet they are all such high quality. And the fact that some of the releases are more obscure only adds to their appeal in my mind. You know that if you want to stand out in the crowd and not adhere to the mainstream then these are the shoes for you, as they allow you to differentiate yourself as well as any item of clothing that I have seen.
The Castaneda costume from the House Of Rfyre has first rate highly detailed texturing as does every outfit I have ever worn or seen from Raven. The House of Rfyre is renowned amongst the SL community for having some of the best texturing ever seen, and this is for good reason. Everytime I have tried on an outfit from Raven I have spent a long time just camming around admiring the detail with which she applys to all her creations. Every piece is truly a work of art, but I must say another thing, the options with which she provides are one of the most appealing things in my mind.

The Castaneda outfits come with the option of a prim jacket and belt or just a prim belt and pocketwatch. Personally I prefer the jackettails as I love to watch my clothing move around in SL. There is also options of a collared jacket, non collared jacket, and vest in the jacket layers. The jackets have sculpted prim sleeves that refine the outfit further, and there is a prim collar to top it off.

There is also 2 different coloured shirts in the Earth coloured pack, whereas the Noir colour has 4 different coloured shirts so there is plenty of variety to be had.

oooOOOooo I ran across a vendor full of freebies in this little store named +HONEY+SHOP, (nagasaki city (64, 163, 25) there's even stuff for guys too! The store has a mix of perms so no matter what your preference you'll be able to find something and at $50 for 95% of the items who can pass it up?



There's even a present in the magazine (press the little present icon when it comes up and you'll get a shirt) volume 2 if you take a look. O.O

Here's some of the outfits I got out of the freebie vendor (There are tons of shirts too.).....

The skin is from Amorepacific. There's a couple of different places to camp for skin on the four sims that make up Amorepacific.



You can pick up the hair at Moonshine (or at the savior hair hub). Ooops, I forgot to change out of those devilishly expensive Juicy sling backs ($500 Juicy (132, 144, 24). Remember there's a couple of places to get free sculpty shoes if you can't break the bank (ADA Store or TVT). While you're at Honey Store check out the cute texture change skirt ($50), super cute! ^.^

I'm So Blue

It's getting harder & harder to find something that hasn't been posted. Three times this week I've taken pics only to see the same stuff posted elsewhere and deleted the whole batch. (What do you guys think, should I post stuff that's on other blogs or not? I'm sort of meh, if it's been posted everyones probably already seen it. But, then again I really have no idea who reads this, lol) =P So, I'm hoping this (the fourth try is a charm?) following post doesn't bore the socks off of ya.

I found the boots while checking out the Carnival of Doom and they have since been removed, but if you're lucky enough to have an extra $350 & not opposed to paying for no transfer then you can purchase the boots at Crimson Shadow (Crimson Shadow Rezzable 147/149/37)

Cheesy title, hawt shoes... 'tis the way of the world my friends. And where have I been lately? Waiting for some shoe-tastic thing to show y'all. I won't be the first or the last blogger to tell you just how fantastic these Racers from FNKY are, but I might just be the only one who can actually claim boyfriend abuse in the process. That's just how I roll.

I managed to get Caelen Mata to agree to help me with this post, guy can't even go on vacation without me finding ways to make him work. Being the awesome professional that he is, he was actually more than happy to go along with the plan especially after seeing the shoes in question. The unisex Racer Sneakers come in 12 colors, 2 sizes in each box - customizable further by touch - and 2 laces options... tied and without the knot thingy which would be preferable if they are showing through your cuffs.

They are sexy and stylish, and a nice sneaker that manages to escape the grunge of so many out there at the moment... they can easily crossover to more upscale casual with the right outfit. Creator Funk Schnook manages to amaze my toes once again, and his pricing is bang on at 500 LaLas a pair, and all 12 pairs for only 2000 LaLas...who's complaining?

Patricia Field for Payless Shoes part 2

Attention all 2000 of Patricia's closest friends that I handed my business card to. I'm posting this up at midnight I just got home. Now we have the gorgeous Kirsten Dunst look-a-like Noel in Mandate of Heaven, and I'm really jealous that she managed to snag the only vintage concert Led Zep t turned play suite with hoody available. So unfair!!! Carissa Ackerman of Mandate of Heaven and I chatted it up and I congratulated her on her blue tu tu making the Sex and the City display window!!!

Phillipe and David Blond are an awsome couple, they may not look down to earth (I swear they are) but fashion doesn't get less pretentious than this. LOL I told Phillipe he pulls off that Donatella sh*t pretty good,his I mean her friend Alek really found that funny. You see what I mean though, Right?

So you can always count on that slutty sensational look at Pat's parties,last year before Pat's birthday I went with Ayumie here, she's my hair-dresser who works at the Pat Field salon and does AMAZING dye jobs and extensions....Anyway people kept yelling out the window of their cars "How Much?" she got mad....

Now here is Guilda the new House of Field intern, she is from Singapore,goes to Parson's and speaks fluent Japanese because she studied there for 3 years...You will appreciate the t-shirt!

Everyone wanted to shut this chick up as she kept screaming you're fabulous I'm fabulous!!! OK we get it. Anyway she told me her name was Barbie Doll. She has hot hair.



I guess I should mention the shoes,but I was pretty much tipsy on cosmos the entire time. Every time I looked up a waiter was above me with a new glass....
FYI thanks to Blair Waldwarf of Gossip Girls even punk rock girls have got the bow look going on,or at least they will. Who are we kidding it never goes out of style!!!

Every photographer at the extravaganza kept snapping the cameras at these FIT students and floor manager/senior stylist Mars. I believe the young kids made their outfits and are called the Glitter Kids???Sorry I wasn't taking notes this is all by memory.

I've got competition,but I don't mind LOL!!! I recently stopped by Henri Bendel to check out the latest trunk shows. That is where I discovered the two lovely ladies who partnered up to create Basha Shaindy...

One of my rules of success is to not be afraid to let others shine, or to share with the world other works of beauty. Its a been said that you get back what you put out there. The law of threefold says you will get three times anything you feed into the collective unconscious.

This was the whole reason why I started this blog,and in reality right now it is all paying back ten-fold!!!

Designers can get so competitive it can be quite disgusting. But I guess that is the case in all sorts of business. But here is a hint, those who play the game with one another will help build the foundation of a long standing and rewarding career.

However my other rule is I will only nurture those who nurture back.



Now let's take a look at Boyfriend head-pieces. Boyfriend was responsible for decorating the head's of all Mandate girl's at the Mandate of Heaven fashion show. You can buy Boyfriend feathered head pieces at Shop in the lower east side,and you can pick up some Angel Lust while you're at it.
