Best Compliment Yet!!!!

In my email via Facebook this morning: HEY PRETTY GIRL

Hope you had an amazing New Years! I've gotten a little addicted to your blog- you spotlight so many interesting people in it. When you have free time, lets make a date to conspire and illustration/headband swap-Molly CrabApple

Around October my party gal princess perfumer Jessica got me into night parties held at the notorious dinner party theater The Box. A couple of weeks ago I did an interview with Barbie doll look alike Ellen Stagg who introduced me to Molly Crabapple at LIT. I didn't know she was the chick who did all these cool illustrations I'd seen before of sex industry icons such as Justine Joli and the Porcelain Twinz!!!

I love knowing who my readers are. Apparently from all over the world now just look on the map to the side of this page and you can click on it to see which cities and countries have visited today. I have some very cool followers and I get amazed and oddly shy when I go out now and people know about this blog I started. Thanks for all you great followers for the comments that have been more active lately. I'm especially thankful to those who I've met in person but where featured here first.

YAY I'm going to get a Molly Crabapple original!!!!

The Beautiful Erna Leon!!!

Erna Leon is a Georgian native with a more than budding career on her hand. She is both a fine artist and fashion designer. This pass week she premiered a range of her paintings at Mansion. She and her close friends Paige Wood and British cutie Kat strutted around the room in garments she made for her own collection. Erna's talents and natural beauty combined with passion will take her far into this industry. I guarantee it. Attention sponsors and Reps, she's available...

Legs and Bunnies by CoCo Dolle

I missed the opening to this collaborative effort, fortunately I had Sunday off to stop by and glance at the "Legs and Bunnies" presentation now on exhibition inside EVA.

227 Mulberry Street
New York City, NY 10012
P: 212 925 3208
info@evanewyork.net

Limited edition bunny bags are 45.00 a piece.

In collaboration with EVA, artist CoCo Dolle has created some fine art fashion influenced pieces "Legs and Bunnies"... Sasha the Aussie Gal who was working the boutique when I stopped by mentioned that the idea of the installation was spawned from the idea that its spring time when bunnies emerge from the bushes and bare legs come forward in minnie skirts and short shorts for the sun. You can purchase any of the work ranging from bags to light boxes or paintings, at a cost range between $45 to $4,500.

The price list includes these sweet words of erotic wisdom....

'Bunnies like to nudge my legs,
Bunnies like to put me on edge.

I am the young Bunny
With my powerful legs and deviant sexuality.

Symbol, lavishing for your attention
Bitter rival's hop in place, my position.

I am the young Bunny, the ground dweller,
Yours forever comfortable and easy lover'.

The artist Coco Pit sets my heart on fire...

I have my sister Blog www.FashionIndie.com that I write for, for this one. They've just introduced this magnificent fashion illustrator to me that has made this nearly unbearable day for me worth it. Coco Pit is the artist you can thank for blessing your eyes for these images. Romantic, seductive and so extraordinary. These illustrations are better than shopping,OK the same kind of pleasure,I can't take things that far.

Ali J and Her Artistic Paraphanalia

Another Myspace Illustrator/artist of sorts Ali J brings you whimsical little ladies on paper. You can have the luxury of buying little treasures of her creations online at this site Etsy.So support indie talent today.
Ali is another one of Australia's multi faceted designers. She is an illustrator that has appeared in a bevy of commercial work. I like the fact that she takes her talent of illustration to another level, meaning she dabbles in textiles and creates things from there such as cushions with artsy fashion media applied. If you are a bit more curious browse her blog for more!!! She's available for commissions, so start thinking about all the lovely Xmas gifts you can start buying or asking for the holidays. This mirror would be great to all you lovely narcissists beauties out there. Its available at etsy.com go see for yourself.

For a good time read MAO MAG !!!

So last night my friend Ai Di Ly and I got tipsy at this totally gay bar that MAO PR chose to host their magazine release party. It was Studio 54 meets Disco 2000 minus a murdering club kid, and eye candy galore. I met and photographed so many wicked cool fashionistas who live by the meaning "Get dressed up" Just look for yourselves!!! I mean just take a look at my mermen above Rain-blo and Andre J to the right. Rodger and Mauricio Padilha where probably the most conservative people at their own mermaid disco they threw. Check me out amongst mermaids Bambie and Bunny our dogs are dog park buddies, and I did not know that they are part time mermaids! Partying is really a job I can see why people start charging fees to show up. For example, if you're taking six hours out of your day to do your makeup bedazzler style. I think that should account for a good 300 bucks and a limo when you make a place extra glam. There must have been like eight million magazine's lined up all over the place. I felt like I was studying modern art history and contemporary fashion while throwing back some svedka!!! I left the party early so I could run home and cuddle up with my new MAO MAG and study the beauty of yesterday and today.

Bubble Gum Pop Culture!!!

This is total pop culture art. Artist Jason Kronenwald create portraits of pop culture icons from bubble gum placed on plywood backing. Mixing colors is created by chewing gum. No dyes,no painting. These portraits are so fab I think I could even stand owning the one of a certain over done heiress.
