Dear Luxury please don't leave us, We'll try our best or at leas I will to keep you all alive. The beauty that we bring into the world may at time seems superficial. But at the end of the day we are creatives fed a beautiful talent by God meant to be nurtured. If I end up on the streets I vow to still create beauty if even on the lowest budget possible...It is my calling. Some people in my family don't get this fully, Me that is. That is the tragedy of Right brains that cannot comprehend the left brained.

In a time of economic crises I really wonder how it'll affect the luxury business of the big cities. Henri Bendel opened up in 1865 I believe,survived the Great Depression and other difficulties. I suppose the Rich the absolute real rich need us designers to exist because they generally get richer as the poor get poorer. Please share your thoughts with me....Thank you to all who have been buying my headbands, I love you for allowing Angel Lust to consistently stay alive. I must be doing something right.



I'm not sure if I've ever posted one of my new favorite luxury perfume brands yet but here it is. Juliette Has a Gun !!! Its like seduce to kill. SO EFFING HOT!!! Depending on your mood, you have your pick of two scents. Lady Vengeance or Miss Charming. For 110 dollars a bottle you can smell like a sexy thriller killer.

The artist Coco Pit sets my heart on fire...

I have my sister Blog www.FashionIndie.com that I write for, for this one. They've just introduced this magnificent fashion illustrator to me that has made this nearly unbearable day for me worth it. Coco Pit is the artist you can thank for blessing your eyes for these images. Romantic,seductive and so extraordinary. These illustrations are better than shopping,OK the same kind of pleasure,I can't take things that far.

Professional Parissienne Artiste!!!

WOW!!! I know I've been featuring fashion illustrators up the wall but there are just so many I've been coming across lately and I want to share them with the world! Kelly has such a charming and romantic way of putting things together. I love the first picture above of Lindsay Lohan it is title appropriately "Why does it always rain on me?" If you take a look at her profile you'll have the privilidge of viewing more of her illustrative look that involves collaging and bambie paintings. Kelly is a photographer as well.

I tell you there is something in the water there that transforms young girls into stylista fashion art geniuses. What a seductive piece,so sultry and demure. My dream is to own a piece from each and everyone of these artist that I post on my blog.

One Fashionista Who is Talented Twice

Kelly Thomson is both a fantastic photographer and a superb illustrator. It's a great thing to be dually talented in the art of fashion. Judging by her work each talent vs. the other really influences the art of one another. To top it off she's also gorgeous , what can I say , some girls get all the luck. Geraldine makes the world more pretty!

I can't ever get enough of Fashion illustration,I'm so glad its making a come back,and mixt media pieces are my favorite. Fashion is somewhat superficial and I constantly struggle with that,but then i think about how as designers we add so much beauty to this world and excite the eye. Pretty entertains,and style is fun while high end fashion can be like architecture at time.
