Shoe Fair 2010: Kookie

More creative Shoe Fair finds from Kookie, whose shoes are unique and offer a wide variety of styles and shapes. I love the details on the Enya Power Boots, with their futuristic shape and buckle closures.

The Armarda Boots from Kookie have an earthy rustic thing going on, with or without the wool topper option the delicate laces and eyelets are a great touch. I loved the rich chocolate shade, if you can't eat it might as well wear it. Kookie Lemon makes some yummy stuff!

The Bonnie lace-up ankle boots have a surprising open toe design, and a lot of personality. The shape is easy to love, and the funky updated style is easy to wear with casual pants or dresses. Be sure and visit Kookie at the Shoe Fair 2010 to see some great styles.

Let them Eat Kookies... and Tea!

I have been sitting on these pictures for a while now, just getting through a crazy busy time for me, getting the new issue of TOO SEXY Magazine out, but I am back, and ready to tease the taste buds of the shoe lover in you. It has been a few weeks since Quinlan Quimby of TOSL sent me her latest releases, Teacup shoes and these adorable Teacup dresses. The shoes are a perfect match for the dresses, they look like they have been crafted out of tiny little saucers from a pretty tea set I might have had as a girl, but the dresses are pure love!

I paired up the TOSL Teacup Dresses with the latest footwear release from Kookie, these have been out for a while but they are well deserving of a nod from OYT. Kookie's City Wedges, by Kookie Lemon, are a little slice of delicious. Simply great shape, and subtle realistic shading, the City Wedges are sleek and easy to wear.

I would recommend you stroll over to both Kookie and TOSL for a little something sweet!

The Stuff;
Shoes: Kookie, City Wedges (shown in Mint & Nude - 50 L Friday Shade.)
Dresses: TOSL, Teacup Dress (shown in Enamel and Blue&White)
Skin: LeLutka, LOLA (Make-ups Sunkissed 3D & 7D)
Hair: MrS, Venice Hair.
Accessories: Donna Flora.

StyleCard: Kookie Yuki Supreme

Too much fun from Kookie this week! Once again, the quirky and cool Yuki Supreme Heels deliver fun and funky and in this case a reason to keep your socks on. The Yuki shoes come in two variations, with the aforementioned lace trimmed cotton socks and without. I love them both ways.

The Socks are color changeable from a HUD and the shoes themselves are size scripted if need be. A cute look that bridges the gap between the prim feet shoes of recent days and ones that do not require any skin matching skills whatsoever. Skin matching is a breeze for most of us with any experience with the color palate in build mode, the skin color ball can also be replicated and renamed so you can save multiple versions to match your various skin tones.

Clothing featured is from the very delicious Miel, a relative newcomer that has impressed me with its muted color palate and really great sense of style.

Playing Footsies

A couple of quick hits that are worth checking out, new releases from AOHARU Walk, J's Shoes and Kookie. Up first is the just born style from Kookie Lemon, Vogue Strappy Shoes. A fresh heel-less foot in shoe platform with metallic leather straps. Easy skin color change with a colour tinted ball that you rez and customize, and a HUD for nail color and the ankle fix options. These are available in multiple colors.

Next up is the attractive Flat Gladiator Sandal from AOHARU Walk. Like the rest of the Luxury Line more cute feet, but these are a flat which is less common. I like all the little details and the join at the leg looks great after minor fit adjustment. A sassy kinda flat sandal for sure. These are worth grabbing in your favorite shade.

Finally is today's release from J's, the Flip-Flap and Barefoot. Of all the foot in shoe styles I have tried I found these the trickiest to tint, but once i got them matched the result was rather nice. I love these flat foot styles and a flip flop is great shoe to have with the foot. These also come with the option of nail colors and can be worn as a bare foot too... which would be nice for photos but will likely need some retouch at the ankle. These come with a pair of cute flowered anklets to help disguise the join point.

Visit Kookie, AOHARU and J's Shoes.

The stuff; with Kookie - Redgrave Skin, LAQ Hair, Elate! Dress, LeLutka Accessories. with AOHARU - Redgrave Skin, Junwave Hair, TULI Top, COCO Short Denim with Belt, M.R.M. Bracelets. with J's - Redgrave Skin, ETD Ltd. Edition Hair (No Longer Available), League Frayed Skirt, Accessories by M.R.M. and UnTone.

A Little Bit Kookie

And here they are, something kinda special from Kookie Lemon, and yeah more toes. Lovers of the Kookie brand will be very familiar with the more animated look to the shoes, they have a very unique quality to them that I have yet to see duplicated. Unique textures and shape, and now some very unique Chic Heels, complete with painted piggies and leg wrapping leather. They have a unique color match system for customizing skin tone, and a hud for selecting nail color - this method worked very well. And so, from the fabulous chunky wood sole and softly textured leather with Bow or without, to the metal accents and criss cross of straps, the Chic Heels are a fun shoe to be sure.

Visit Kookie to get your fix.

The Stuff; Redgrave Skin, :;69:: Hair, DP Serendipity Sweater and Lingerie, Maitreya Skirt, Sole Necklace, Tres Blah Purse.

A Lil' Kookie!

In an attempt to soothe the readers of 'On Your Toes', who I have badly neglected of late, I present to you a little teaser post courtesy of Kookie Lemon. It has been a long time since I had a chance to see what Kookie has been up to, but I am so glad she sent these my way, and if I am not mistaken they should be hitting the shelves very soon... so yay! for that. The Ella Petite Flats as she calls them are certainly petite, but they are also rather sweetly shaped, with a delightful almost metallic sheen and adornments on the toes that resemble ribbon and silver cameos. The are scripted for size adjustment if you should so wish.

The Ella Petite Flats come in 9 tasty bright shades, my pick for the day was the blue. I also happened upon the spanking new Festivale Sim and with all it's colourful nooks and crannies I was inspired to show off that colorful side and really have some fun. I started with the star spangled leggings from Sweetest Goodbye, added the cardigan from en Svale. Some more color offered with and a belt from Cupcakes and PacMan Lunchbox from Luminaire (not sure if these are still out there or not). The hair is my latest obsession from Mirai, called Gran with a texture change headband. The colorful wood bangles are from M.R.M. Factory, they are color change and I love their versatility.

To get in on the fun check out the Festivale Sim, and keep your eyes on the shelves over at Kookie for these great lil' flats to arrive!

StyleCard: Kookie Girl

There's a new kid in town, Kookie Lemon is her name and she makes shoes. If you follow the fashion feeds you have no doubt seen more than a few glimpses of her adorable footwear, but I would be remiss if I didn't introduce this talented gal to my 'On Your Toes' readers. She is going to be one to watch.

I had to climb into a pair of her Katy Boots in this delicious Persian Pink, and then throw on some cute knits to make a fun look to go with them. Sweetest Goodbye made this great Danbi Hooded Knit, and Dernier Cri the great leggings (part of the Ranae Outfit) - and my favorite Hair Fair find the Maitreya Jade style with knit cap. Bangles by Argyle in matching hues were an easy choice.

A few more great styles on the menu at Kookie, from left to right; Donna Slingback Platforms, Phoebe Court Shoes & Natasha, an embellished closed foot pump - hot!

Be sure and pay Miss Kookie a visit and take a closer look.

The stuff; Giusia Skin, Maitreya Hat/Hair, Sweetest Goodbye Top, Dernier Cri Leggings, Bangles by Argyle.
