Finland in the Spring

Storm Schmooz doesn't need my help when it comes to reputation, his shoes are wonderful - every pair carefully crafted to exacting specifications, the quality and workmanship speak for themselves. But being that I admire his creations so much I couldn't resist sharing with you the latest in his collection of great footwear, the Suomi Pumps. The Suomi are an attractive stacked wooden platform heel, and the name suits it well - the natural colors and texture of the wood reminds me of the vast forests of Finland.

The shades are muted, but the styling speaks volumes. The Suomi is available in 4 shades; the Pistache and Cognac shown above, and the dark Brown and attractive Naturel shown in the store posters below. Demos provided in store.

What a Girl Wants

What girl doesn’t love a nice sexy looking chunky sandal? They give you some height, they can show of a great pedicure and they happen to remind me of warmer weather…the kind I hope is just around the corner. Luckily in SL 2 inches of snow doesn’t have to keep us from donning the open footwear. Storm Schmooz has had a teaser for these great looking Mimmi Sandals in his shop at Viva La Glam sim for a little while… and I have been dying to get my hands on them. Today was that day for me, Storm dropped me a few samples to share with y’all.

I have to say they are a great looking sandal, Storm has again added some nice details and really made those sculpties work hard on this shoe. The Texturing is as always well done, creating a realistic sandal… and he has managed to work around the constraints of the SL ankle pretty well. The samples shown here are; Black with Wood, Red with Wood, and a great looking full Orange. He promises more great colors to come, so YAY!

Schmoozed!

I am a detail person, might be another one of the side effects of being born Virgo, but I have always appreciated small things like doll house furniture and finger puppets... ok, back on task. I recently spied some great looking sculpted heels and after learning they were from a shop I had never heard of, I ran right over to take a look for myself. And yes, they looked spectacular with their nice platform base and yummy range of shades. But it was another shoe that got my heart thumping, the pret-a sortir from Storm Schmooz.

A lovely shape, exquisite texturing and the clincher... a darling sculpted bow adorning the toe. It is sold in a fat pack only, meaning you get the black, gold, pink and blue versions all at once... and who wouldn't want that? I dashed over to Ivalde and found the perfect compliment, the Rigmor Dress in all it's shades... It is pure magic I tell you, the way these just 'go'. I am a bit of a chicken and egger with shoes, sometimes the dress sends me looking for the perfect shoes, sometimes the shoes scream to be mated with the perfect ensemble. Oh Happy Day!
