Art

YO! Well i've been very non-specific with the title of this post as i don't know how to describe/what the name is/if there is a name for what i'm about to show you. I'll try to describe it but i'll no doubt fail miserably, so if anyone happens to read this and has an idea of what i'm talking about, then i would greatly appreciate it if you would help me out by leaving a comment. Thanks and sorry for the confusion!

But anyway, there's just these three paintings that i've picked out that i've known for a while, and always admired the skill that the artists have shown the movement of the bodies. When i look at them, i can really imagine them walking, dancing, or riding a horse. It's sort of a movement that looks like they're being driven slowly forwards by something other than themselves, and their minds are lost in something else. As i said - i really don't know how to describe it haha...

The Magic Circle - John William Waterhouse

Salome - Franz Von Stuck

Lady Godiva - John Collier

Lots of love
Lucy
